about M.D.R.C
I am 13 years old and I have been going to Misterton
and District riding club for about nine years so I stared when I was about four! Misterton is a great little club and everyone
that goes always has loads of fun! Personally, I think that Misterton has bought me on over the years with the rallies and
the jumping practices that we have every year. I am now part of the junior committee and I enjoy organising our junior committee
show that we also have every year, which is organised by the younger helpers of the riding club.
On
the last Saturday of every month Julie Tilley organizes dressage tests available to anybody and people of all ages, whereas
the club its self is for anybody under the age of 18! During the summer through out the week there are show jumping practices
held at the club field! Shows are generally held on every other weekend, starting in March/April and the season ends with
a great two-day event and cross-country competition at Ashby magna!
Gymkhanas
are held at every show apart from the jumping shows, these are great fun and cost £1 per game! Show jumping is in sizes of
your horse and there is a cradle stakes and beginners classes for the un-experienced.
MDRC,
is a great friendly club and welcomes new members, for the next shows and rallies look on the 2004 schedule!
